About David

David Walker is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School. As an undergraduate, he played football and was named First Team All Academic Pacific10 Athletic Conference three years in a row. During law school, Mr. Walker interned in the Homicide Unit of the Santa Clara County's Public Defender's Office, worked at Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein (one of the nation's premiere plaintiff litigation firms) and was a staff editor for the Stanford Law and Policy Review.

After law school, Mr. Walker clerked for the Honorable Gary L. Lancaster, who sat on the federal bench in the Western District of Pennsylvania. As a federal district court clerk, Mr. Walker gained invaluable experience working on matters involving interstate business disputes, workplace discrimination, fraud and complex questions of constitutional law.

Mr. Walker honed his skills as a trial lawyer while defending the rights of Philadelphia's poor as a staff attorney with the Defender Association of Philadelphia. He finished his career at the Defenders working in the Major Trial Division, handling only the most serious felony offenses.

Mr. Walker founded the Law Office of David M. Walker and has been representing the accused in and around the Philadelphia Area for nearly two decades. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Walker has served as served as a legal analyst for local talk shows and the Associated Press.
